Perform and interpret routine and specialized laboratory tests to aid in diagnosis and treatment in a healthcare environment with exposure to biological hazards. The role requires a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specimens for testing
• Perform quality control procedures

• Conduct phlebotomy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in medical or biological sciences
• Current state license
• ASCP, AMT, or AAB generalist or discipline certification
• Proficiency in computer data entry
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical problem-solving and good judgment
• Ability to adapt to diverse patient populations
• Adherence to safety and compliance standards
• Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting and prolonged standing
