Role Overview This position involves utilizing laboratory skills to perform and report clearly defined tests, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. The role includes specimen handling, test processing, quality control, routine maintenance, and inventory management. Key Responsibilities Receive, identify, prioritize, and organize specimens for accurate and timely testing.Perform laboratory procedures and report results.Conduct quality control, proficiency testing, and routine instrument maintenance.Evaluate patient identification to minimize errors and adverse outcomes.Analyze data, draw conclusions, and support ongoing learning.Complete assigned goals and provide instruction to personnel and students as needed. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology from an accredited program.Clinical laboratory experience preferred.Basic computer literacy required; advanced skills preferred.National certification aligned with current Federal and/or State regulations required; ASCP certification preferred.
