About the role
Join us as a Medical Director at VCA Schaumburg Animal Hospital in Schaumburg, IL. You'll work in a supportive environment with world-class medicine, technology, facilities, and a talented team.
Responsibilities
- Set the medical direction of the hospital with the support of VCA's resources.
- Perform wellness exams, vaccinations, and routine preventative care.
- Provide comprehensive diagnostics and treatment options for internal conditions.
- Perform a variety of soft tissue surgeries, supported by digital dental radiography.
- Conduct full dental procedures.
Requirements
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent.
- Licensure in good standing to practice in IL, or the ability to obtain.
- A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine.

- Total Rewards: Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. Annual salary range is $140 - $165K. Includes MD stipend (paid bi-weekly) and a yearly bonus.
