About the Role

Join our team as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, performing and reporting various analyses from multiple specimen sources to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing specimen handling, confirming identification, and using proper accessioning procedures.
• Recognizing and resolving discrepancies in patient orders, performing instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control.
• Replenishing reagents, following reporting protocols, and navigating multiple computer applications.
• Assisting in training new employees and participating in educational activities to maintain current knowledge.
• Ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately in a clinical environment, adhering to organizational policies.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, with preferred certification in Medical Technology or Laboratory Science.
• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting is advantageous.
• Ability to perform laboratory analyses, manage multiple processes, and use laboratory equipment and computer systems effectively.
• Successful completion of competency exams and commitment to ongoing education.
