Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS, MT, or MLT)

About the role

Emplify Health by Boscobel is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Technologist, or Medical Laboratory Technician to join their Core Laboratory team in Boscobel, WI. The position offers full-time, 76 hours biweekly night shifts with no weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory testing on a variety of specimens
• Demonstrate competency within the full scope of laboratory procedures
• Analyze information and monitor quality performance
• Take action to ensure the efficient delivery of accurate and timely laboratory test results and services
• Collect blood from patients and perform EKGs following prescribed procedures
• Develop and implement laboratory procedures
• Maintain quality control in the laboratory

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field
• ASCP Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Certification
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques, including blood sampling, specimen collection, processing, and analysis
• Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues

Qualifications

• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compliance with all regulatory requirements
