Medical Laboratory Scientist - Microbiology Lab

Performs assays accurately and timely on patient samples using a variety of automated and manual testing procedures to aid physicians in patient diagnosis and treatment. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, safety, environmental, and infectious control standards so that the laboratory remains in compliance with accreditation and licensing agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related discipline.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire, obtain one of the following certifications:
  • National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology
  • National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists
  • National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology
  • National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Medical Technologists

Pay

The pay range for this position is $46.80 - $71.32 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

Per-Diem, Variable shift.
