Job Summary

As a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), you would be responsible for obtaining or receiving specimens, performing clinical laboratory tests by standardized procedures, understanding method principles, performing quality control, performing preventive maintenance, and interpreting results accurately, acceptably, and within critical limits. The MLS works independently, organizing work to meet established deadlines and validates all data obtained.

Core Lab/Generalist - Available Shifts

  • Full Time Day Shift: M-F 7AM-3:30PM; Every 3rd weekend & every 3rd holiday
  • Full Time Evening Shift: M-F 2:30PM-11:00PM; Every 3rd weekend & every 3rd holiday
  • Full Time Night Shift: M-F 10:30PM-7AM; Every 3rd weekend & every 3rd holiday
  • Part Time Night Shift: M-F 10:30PM-7AM; Every 3rd weekend & every 3rd holiday

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science
  • Bachelor's in some other field of study AND completion of a Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science program
  • MT-HEW certification will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree

Experience

  • Clinical Laboratory Science Experience Required

Certification and Licensure

  • ASCP or AMT eligible

Required Skills

  • Computer Skills to include use and navigation
  • Excellent Communications Skills
  • Multitasking
