About the role
Medical Laboratory Scientist II (multiple positions) sought to conduct laboratory procedures in designated areas. Perform analytical testing of blood and human biological specimens, requiring theoretical and practical knowledge and expertise. Conduct complex diagnostic and analytic assessments of specimens, interpreting data with precision and accuracy. Facilitate selected aspects of laboratory processes, including workflow management, quality control, performance improvement activities, and maintenance of equipment. Assist laboratory leadership in meeting goals across various areas.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science, or medical technology
- Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science, medical technology, or functional equivalent is acceptable
- State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license
