Medical Laboratory Scientist - Core Lab - Days

About the role

Seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technologist to perform and interpret routine and specialized laboratory tests with accuracy and independence.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, preparing, and analyzing specimens according to protocols
• Performing quality control, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Ensuring regulatory compliance and safety standards are met
• Participating in performance improvement and inventory management
• Communicating effectively with team members and patients, respecting privacy
• Adapting behaviors to diverse patient populations and maintaining confidentiality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology, laboratory science, or related field
• Current Clinical Lab Scientist Generalist license or permit, with license obtained within 90 days if applicable
• Certification from ASCP, AMT, or AAB within 90 days of hire
• Proficiency in computer skills, data entry, and communication
• Good analytical, judgment, and interpersonal skills
