Medical Laboratory Scientist - Clinical Laboratory

About the role

This position involves performing, evaluating, and reporting laboratory specimen analyses under the supervision of the Laboratory manager. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining instruments, troubleshooting, and instructing new staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Performing diagnostic tests and ensuring quality control
• Adhering to regulatory and compliance standards
• Communicating with patients of various age groups using age-appropriate concepts and medical equipment
• Solving technical problems and maintaining lab equipment

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a related health science
• Certified as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist by the American Society for Clinical Pathology
• Within 90 days of hire, obtaining Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification

Pay

Opportunities available in Chewelah, WA, with a pay range of $33.67 - $52.28 per hour, plus potential additional compensation for shift differentials and overtime.
