Medical Laboratory Scientist
About the role
This position is per-diem and works 8-hour, variable shifts.
Responsibilities
- Performs routine laboratory testing and analysis
- Operates test equipment
- Maintains the quality of testing
- Verifies and reports test results
- Performs more complex test procedures in one or more sections
- Supervises specific section of shift in absence of Clinical Specialist and Technologist III
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License
- 2 years experience

Well developed, cognitive, manipulative and problem solving skills for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
