Job Summary: A Medical Laboratory Scientist performs high-complexity clinical testing across hematology, chemistry, immunology, and specialized areas to support patient care and research, ensuring compliance with standards like CLIA, CAP, and GCLP. Key Responsibilities Conduct and report automated and manual laboratory tests with minimal supervisionManage reagent inventory, prepare reagents, and troubleshoot instrument issues affecting accuracyParticipate in assay validation, method improvements, and new technology integrationEnsure adherence to quality management systems and regulatory standardsSupport training of laboratory staff and contribute to audits and quality initiatives Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field0–5 years of clinical laboratory experienceNational certification as MLS/MT (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent)Knowledge of CLIA requirements for high-complexity testing personnelProficiency with laboratory instruments, safety protocols, and hazardous chemicalsStrong troubleshooting skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
