Our Medical Technologist performs and demonstrates proficiency and understanding in one or more areas of the clinical laboratory. Responsibilities
- Perform chemical, bacteriological, serological, and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.
- Maintain records of performance, patient results, and quality control.
- Maintain equipment, record preventive and remedial maintenance of equipment.
- Assist with laboratory training programs as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- Certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist, Certified Medical Lab, Certified Lab Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Lab Scientist, or American Medical Technologist is required.
- At least one year of experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
