Medical Laboratory Scientist

About the role

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform accurate, timely, and cost-effective laboratory testing of patient samples to support diagnosis and treatment. You will provide technical expertise, ensure quality standards, and exceed criteria for Laboratory Technician II roles in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and timely laboratory testing of patient samples
• Provide technical expertise and ensure adherence to quality standards
• Adhere to safety and quality protocols
• Support laboratory operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or a related science
• Clinical laboratory experience meeting certification requirements through recognized agencies such as ASCP or AMT
• Must obtain national certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Technologist, or Clinical Laboratory Scientist within one year of hire

Qualifications

Preferred candidates have at least one year of experience.
