Medical Laboratory Generalist

About the role

Support Vitalant's life-saving mission by contributing to laboratory operations. You will manage reagents, supplies, and inventory, input patient data, and provide exceptional customer service.

Schedule

• Evenings: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM with weekend rotation (weekend shift differential)
• Training: 6 weeks, Monday–Friday, days 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay

Base wage: $21.63–$22.38

Responsibilities

• Manage Special Red Cell inventory and distribution
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and identify malfunctions
• Conduct preparation and prequalification of reagents

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree that meets CLIA requirements (medical sciences, chemistry, or biology)
• No experience required; new graduates welcome
