Medical Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist- PD

Pay

$22.19 - $36.20 per hour, based on experience (per Union Contract).

Schedule

Per diem, fill-in, on-call shifts including weekends, holidays, nights, and evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, perform, evaluate, and report CLIA'88 waived testing, including preanalytical, analytical, and post-analytical functions.
• Perform quality control and quality assurance activities.
• Monitor supply inventory.
• Conduct blood draws.
• Establish and maintain communications with healthcare providers, patients, hospital personnel, and other organizations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Washington State Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist Certification (required).
• Computer experience.
• Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in diagrammatic or written form.
