Medical Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist- PD

PAY:** According to the Union Contract-$22.19 - $36.20, based on experience, EOE, DOESHIFT:** Per Diem, fill in, on call/weekends, holidays, nights, evenings if needed

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Planning, performing, evaluating, and reporting CLIA'88 waived testing.
• Performing preanalytical, analytical, and post-analytical functions.
• Conducting quality control and quality assurance activities.
• Maintaining supply inventory.
• Carrying out blood draws.
• Maintaining communications with health care providers, patients, other hospital personnel, and other organizations.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• WA State Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification Required.
• Computer experience required.
• Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions or diagrams.
