Medical Laboratory Assistant

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team at the Salford Quays laboratory in Manchester. The role involves rotating through various tasks within the laboratory, including analyser loading and maintenance, troubleshooting of analysis, and general support of laboratory functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preparation and tests, including basic analytical processes, accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a qualified BMS.
• Bring any unusual test requests or results to the attention of the appropriate member of staff.
