Medical Lab Technologist/Medical Technologist, Fulltime, Nights

It also offers a range of services such as behavioral health, emergency care, orthopedic surgery, maternity care, rehabilitation, imaging, and wound care.

Responsibilities

• Assist Leads and lab management in projects
• Communicate critical values and delays to customers
• Complete CLIA required annual competencies
• Actively participate in and maintain survey readiness
• Perform and review PT samples and results
• Follow proper QC, calibration procedures, and corrective actions
• Assist in the orientation and training of new and current lab associates
• Communicate with lab leadership on concerns affecting lab operations, quality, and errors
• Maintain and communicate effective communication regarding pending workload
• Assist with specimen processing, including order entry and registration
• Assist in evaluating and validating new instruments or procedures
• Evaluate and validate the quality of results based on technical knowledge and SOPs
• Communicate and handle customer issues in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Education: 2-year Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Technician Program or Bachelor’s degree in related field with training in Medical Technology (MT) program
• Experience: Clinical experience under a licensed Pathologist, welcome for new graduates with clinical rotation training
• Licenses/Certifications: Registration eligible by ASCP or equivalent Board of Registry
