Medical Lab Technician/Scientist

This role involves performing waived and non-waived laboratory tests accurately and efficiently under supervision, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as CLIA, JCAHO, CAP, and OSHA. It includes duties like specimen collection, receipt, and processing, adhering to established policies and professional standards. Key responsibilities: Perform diagnostic tests and handle biological specimens.Maintain compliance with accreditation and safety regulations.Assist in specimen collection and processing.Support department operations and quality assurance. Qualifications & Skills: Associate or Bachelor's degree in a laboratory science or equivalent training.Demonstrated competency in phlebotomy where applicable.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.Basic computer skills and customer service proficiency.Ability to handle physical demands and work in a regulated environment safely. Preferred Qualifications: MLT certification (e.g., ASCP, AMT).Experience with specimen requirements and medical terminology.Previous phlebotomy and processing experience.
