Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
- Rotating Saturdays
Scheduled weekly hours: 40 (2nd shift).
Location
250 Miller Place, Hicksville, NY 11801
Pay
- Medical Technologist: $38.00 – $50.00/hr
- Medical Lab Technician: $30.00 – $45.00/hr
Sign-on bonus eligible.
Responsibilities
- Perform moderate and high complexity testing using state-of-the-art Roche instrumentation
- Set up and complete instrument maintenance, calibration, and QC
- Analyze, review, and report test results and quality control results; take remedial action when indicated
- Ensure specimen integrity by adhering to the laboratory’s procedure for specimen handling and processing
- Adhere to departmental policies and procedures, including quality control, quality assurance, and safety
Requirements
- New York State License (Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician)
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related degree (preferred)
- ASCP certification (preferred)
