Medical Lab Technician Lead - Chemistry

Role Overview

The Clinical Lab Section Lead ensures timely completion of activities initiated by the Core Lab Manager and Supervisor, managing daily work assignments and overseeing laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential functions of a Med Tech 3 within assigned sections.
• Ensures project tasks are completed and lab compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provides feedback for quality and performance improvements.
• Maintains specimen handling, test analysis, reporting, and record-keeping following established procedures.
• Ensures quality control, instrument calibration, and documentation are properly maintained.
• Serves as a technical resource for troubleshooting and problem resolution.

Qualifications & Skills

• Certifications: MLS (ASCP), MT (AMT/ASCP), or MLS (AMT).
• Bachelor's Degree in Biological Science or Clinical Laboratory Science.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical lab operations experience.
