Medical Lab Technician (FT DAYS)

Essential Functions

• Prepares, analyzes, documents and reports tests and test results.
• Affirms Quality Control measures are acceptable and documented appropriately.
• Communicates with physicians and nursing staff regarding required tests.
• Successfully completes proficiency testing as assigned.

Education/Skills

• Degree or Associate Degree in Medical Technology or educational equivalent.
• National Certification preferred (ASCP, AMT, NLCP, ASCLS) or similar.
• BLS recommended.

Experience

• A minimum of one year recent laboratory related experience preferred.
