Core Responsibilities And Essential Functions
- Maintains acceptable accuracy in patient, quality assurance, proficiency and competency testing.
- Uses clinical/theoretical knowledge to analyze, investigate, interpret and report lab data.
- P practices information monitoring, investigation, resolution and hand-off to team members.
- Pactices organizational skills for efficiency of time, materials, cost and completing testing.
- Maintains current knowledge and practice of WellStar Policies and procedures, including LIS.
- Complies with all WellStar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
Required Minimum Education and Experience
- Associates Medical Technology or Other / Certificate Medical Technology
- Minimum 1 year Laboratory experience
Required Minimum License(s) And Certification(s)
- MLT(AAB) - Medical Laboratory Technician or MLT(AMT) - Medical Laboratory Technician or MLT(ASCP) - Medical Laboratory Technician or MLT-P - Medical Laboratory Technician Provisional (18 Months) within 1-1/2 Yrs
