Medical Lab Tech

About the Role

As a Medical Lab Technician, you will perform routine clinical procedures with minimal to moderate supervision. You will bring complex problems to the immediate attention of the Supervisor, handle specimens, supplies, and equipment properly, and recognize unusual results or difficulties to make necessary simple corrections and adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine clinical laboratory procedures.
• Handle and process specimens, supplies, and equipment correctly.
• Identify unusual results or difficulties and apply necessary corrections or adjustments.
• Report complex problems to the Supervisor.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Medical Lab Technology.
• 0-1 year of experience as a Medical Lab Technologist.
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician, MLT (ASCP) preferred.
