MEDICAL LAB SCIENTIST OR MEDICAL LAB TECHNICIAN FLOAT, TOWN HALL HEALTH CENTER

Location: Menomonee Falls, WI (on-site at CP-Town Hall Health Center)

FTE: 0.600000 | Standard Hours: 24.00 | Shift: Rotating – (3) 8-hour shifts per week or (2) 12-hour shifts at North Hills Health Center, Tosa Health Center, or Town Hall Health Center. Start times are either 8am or 12pm.

Eligible for sign-on bonus up to $4,000.

About the role

A Medical Lab Scientist and Medical Lab Technician perform laboratory procedures using established and approved protocols that require the broad exercise of independent judgment and responsibility with minimal technical supervision. Responsibilities include quality control, instrument maintenance, and specimen procurement and processing. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Medical Lab Scientist

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science required within 60 days of hire.
• Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent required within 6 months of hire.

Medical Lab Technician

• Associate degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology, including an internship at an affiliated laboratory from an accredited institution, required within 60 days of hire.
• MLT (ASCP) certification required within 6 months of hire.
