Overview Job Title: Medical Lab Scientist Shift: Nights Location: Columbus, Georgia Join a healthcare team as a Medical Lab Scientist responsible for independently performing laboratory procedures and testing on patients of all ages, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The role requires executing, interpreting, and analyzing lab results to support patient care and outcomes. Qualifications Include A high school diploma or GED plus relevant college, technical, and clinical training meeting certification requirements A bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science, biomedical science, or related biological sciences is preferred No experience required; however, 1 year of supervised clinical experience is preferred Certification as a medical technologist or laboratory scientist by recognized agencies (ASCP, AMT, or AAB) is required upon hire; recent graduates or those new to Georgia may have temporary classification for up to 18 months.
