Medical Lab Scientist III

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Laboratory Scientist to join a busy, high-volume acute-care hospital laboratory in Nashville, TN. This 13-week contract position supports the Core Laboratory and performs a variety of patient testing across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient testing in a high-volume acute-care hospital setting.
• Conduct testing in the following areas:
  • Chemistry
  • Hematology
  • Coagulation
  • Urinalysis
• Follow established laboratory procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Review and report accurate and timely test results.
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation as needed.
• Perform quality control and other laboratory procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with laboratory technologists, assistants, and clinical teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with applicable laboratory regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• ASCP or AMT certification is required.

Schedule

• 13-week contract.
• 3rd Shift, Monday – Friday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM.

Pay

$40 – $45 per hour. Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
