Medical Lab Assistant | Clinical Lab Support | Full-time | Variable

Responsibilities

• Perform skin punctures to obtain blood specimens for laboratory testing.
• Promptly and accurately process test requisitions, charge appropriately, register and order tests for outpatients, and inform technicians of statistics and other timed or urgent testing needs.
• Telephone patients, physicians, and nursing units as required.
• Maintain neat and organized collection trays, collection areas, and work areas.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED.
• Phlebotomy Certification, preferred.
