About the role

LanguageLine Solutions, a global leader in language access services, is seeking dedicated Medical Interpreters to join their growing Onsite Division in Atlanta, GA and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, high-quality consecutive interpretation during medical appointments and healthcare interactions.
• Facilitate clear communication between healthcare providers and patients.
• Maintain professionalism, neutrality, and strict confidentiality at all times.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness in diverse healthcare settings.
• Follow client-specific protocols while confidently managing the flow of communication.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and at least one target language (spoken and understood at a professional level).
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Prominent medical interpreting experience (preferred).
• Excellent listening, memory retention, and note-taking skills.
• Able to remain impartial, professional, and composed in sensitive situations.
• An educational background in languages or interpretation (a plus).
