Qualifications

• Required Education: GED or High School Diploma
• PREFERRED Education: Associate's degree in a healthcare field with demonstrated fluency in Foreign Language.
• Necessary Skills:
  • Demonstrated fluency both oral and written in English and other Foreign Languages.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Sincere interest in working with people and helping them.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations professionally and courteously.
  • Capable of working with diverse groups of people.
• Required Licensure/Certifications:
  • Completion of the ALTA Medical Language Test at a Fluent Skill Level-10 or higher within 30 days of hire or transfer in the position.
• Required Experience:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a health care setting with demonstrated fluency in a foreign language.
  • Customer service experience in a health care related industry (preferred).
