About the role
A Multi-Modality Technologist performs a minimum of two imaging procedures, such as MRI, CT, ultrasound, IR, Radiation Therapy, Mammography, or Nuclear Medicine. This role involves supporting multiple modalities routinely, providing on-call coverage, and delivering patient-centered care while maintaining the standards of a registered technologist.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities
- Support and maintain proficiency in at least two imaging modalities
- Provide on-call coverage as required
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
- Maintain technical proficiency and certifications
- Ensure proper use of imaging and patient care equipment
- Troubleshoot software and equipment issues
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduation from an accredited Radiology program (Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred)
- 1-2 years of clinical radiology experience
- Licensure/certification in at least two modalities through recognized bodies (e.g., ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or ARDMS)
- Competency in radiographic procedures and patient communication
- Ability to serve all patient age groups
