Medical Imaging Technologist II

About the role

The Multi-Modality Technologist is qualified to perform a minimum of two imaging procedures, such as MRI, CT, diagnostic US, IR, Radiation Therapy, Mammography, or Nuclear Medicine. This role supports routine operation of multiple modalities, providing on-call coverage as needed, and focuses on patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures
• Ensure quality standards
• Communicate exam details to patients
• Troubleshoot equipment and software
• Maintain competency in at least two modalities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited radiology program
• Preferred associate’s degree in radiologic technology
• 1–2 years of clinical radiology experience
• Licensure or certification in two modalities through recognized certifying bodies such as ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or ARDMS
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
