About the role
This role involves performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures such as CT, MRI, CTA, and radiography, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate scans for quality
- Prepare patients by assessing histories and contraindications
- Handle venipuncture
- Coordinate exams within the department and with other teams
- Process scheduling
- Maintain accurate documentation including quality control logs
- Demonstrate proficiency with PACS, Powerscribe, and Epic systems
- Adhere to safety protocols, radiation safety, and aseptic techniques
- Demonstrate effective communication, professionalism, and ability to care for diverse patient populations, including pediatric and geriatric
- Pursue professional growth through ongoing education
- Participate in department activities
- Comply with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Radiologic technology degree
- ARRT certification
- Nebraska radiographer license
- CT/MRI certification within 12 months
- BLS certification
- Physical capability for medium work
