We are currently seeking a Medical Imaging Assistant to join our team. This position offers a unique change of scenery by means of working on a state-of-the-art mobile scanner, and ability to meet new people from various facilities. Responsibilities
- Aid the technologist in starting IVs
- Provide excellent patient care on a mobile medical route, including maintaining patient comfort, safety and confidentiality
- Transport patients between the medical facility and the mobile scanner
- Aid the Medical Technologist in completing applicable forms and positioning patients on the scanner to facilitate the examination
- Complete necessary administrative tasks (i.e. time/activity reports and billing)
Qualifications
- Phlebotomy/IV experience preferred but not required
- Must be willing to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check, urine drug screen and physical
- You must be able to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally
- You must be a minimum of 21 years of age
