Princeton Orthopaedic Associates (POA), a division of OrthoNJ, is a Community of Extraordinary Care professionals serving Central New Jersey since 1974. With 29 physicians, including 19 Orthopaedic surgeons, across 7 office locations, urgent care centers, and surgical center, POA operates as an outcome-focused orthopaedic practice that combines extraordinary talent, advanced techniques, and cutting-edge tools with compassionate service. Responsibilities
- Greet patients professionally, manage digital intake/check-out processes, collect co-pays/balances, and maintain a clean, welcoming reception area
- Schedule appointments accurately, verify insurance coverage, prep charts, and secure required referrals prior to visits
- Maintain precise EMR records, manage incoming calls and emails, and strictly protect patient privacy (HIPAA)
- Collaborate closely with clinical staff to optimize patient flow and keep front desk inventory stocked and organized
Required Skills & Abilities
Sharp organizational skills with proven ability to multi-task, manage EMR charting, and stay composed in a fast-paced environment; exceptional written and verbal communication skills; dedicated to providing warm, professional service to patients, families, and staff; a dependable team player willing to work flexible hours (including occasional Saturdays) and travel to regional office sites as needed.
Experience & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; proven experience in a front desk or administrative role within a medical office setting is highly preferred; familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical privacy practices is preferred.
Pay
$16.00 - $24.00 per hour
