Responsibilities

  • Greet patients professionally, manage digital intake/check-out processes, collect co-pays/balances, and maintain a clean, welcoming reception area
  • Schedule appointments accurately, verify insurance coverage, prep charts, and secure required referrals prior to visits
  • Maintain precise EMR records, manage incoming calls and emails, and strictly protect patient privacy (HIPAA)
  • Collaborate closely with clinical staff to optimize patient flow and keep front desk inventory stocked and organized

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proven experience in a front desk or administrative role within a medical office setting is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical privacy practices is preferred

Skills

  • Sharp organizational skills with proven ability to multi-task, manage EMR charting, and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; dedicated to providing warm, professional service to patients, families, and staff
  • A dependable team player willing to work flexible hours (including occasional Saturdays) and travel to regional office sites as needed

Pay

The hiring range for this role is $16.00 - $24.00 per hour. Compensation is determined based on several factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, and geographic location.
