Medical Facility Security Guard

Custom Protective Services of NY LLC is seeking a security officer to work in a medical facility in Great Neck, New York.

Schedule

• Saturday & Sunday 7AM–8PM
• Saturday & Sunday 7AM–3PM

Responsibilities

• Meet and continue to meet any applicable state/city licensing requirements for Security Officers
• Carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form
• Maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances
• Courteous telephone manner
• Write routine correspondence, including logs and reports
• Provide high-quality customer service
• Interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures
• Communicate clearly (seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing) to observe and report incidents and direct others
• Frequent standing and walking for long periods, including climbing stairs and walking up inclines

Requirements

• Current New York State Security Guard License
• Current New York State Training Certifications (16 HR OJT and/or 8 HR Annual)
• Computer knowledge: proficiency in Windows, MS Word, typing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to commute to Great Neck, NY 11021
• Driver’s License

Pay

From $17.25 per hour
