About the Role

Join MedSpeed as a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Superior, WI, and play a vital role in delivering health. This part-time position offers a fixed schedule on Fridays (7:30 AM - 5:00 PM) and Saturdays (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM), with a pay rate of $18.00/hr. You’ll be part of a team that transports essential medical supplies and specimens, ensuring timely and safe delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Safely drive a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, and interoffice mail.
  • Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items accurately throughout the transportation cycle.
  • Adhere strictly to operating policies, procedures, and service schedules.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and interaction with clients and the public.
  • Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
  • Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and keep the vehicle clean and orderly.
  • Adapt to varying route duties based on client and business needs.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation, and adaptability with teammates and clients.
  • Build and nurture a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.

Requirements

  • Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
  • Excellent driving history.
  • Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.
  • Comfortable operating vehicles equipped with dashcam recording systems.
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination, depending on location and local mandates.
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable walking long distances and standing for long periods.

  • Ability to follow procedures closely.
