Medical Dosimetrist
Job Description
This position requires ability to travel onsite, as the work arrangement is hybrid remote with 75% of time onsite and 25% remote.
Responsibilities
- Become a member of the Radiation Oncology team, bringing expertise and knowledge necessary to generate radiation therapy treatment plans in collaboration with the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities.
- Work with radiation therapists in patient simulation and ensure plan deliverability on the treatment machines.
Requirements
- Requires a Master’s, Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Medical Dosimetry or related Sciences.
- CMD certification is required upon eligibility.
- 2 years of dosimetry experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a healthcare setting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Proficiency in radiation therapy planning software.
- Knowledge of radiation physics principles.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.

Schedule
- Works five 8-hour or four 10-hour weekdays.
