About the role
Plum Creek Animal Medical Center is a well‑established, progressive, fast‑paced 3‑doctor veterinary practice with a nearby outpatient veterinary clinic. Proudly AAHA‑certified for 25 years, the hospital serves the Crete community and is located a commutable distance from Chicago. The charming red barn setting offers a peaceful escape from city life while keeping big‑city amenities within easy reach. As Medical Director Veterinarian you will lead the practice through an upcoming hospital remodel, helping shape the future clinical environment while working alongside an experienced veterinary team. The role also provides flexibility to invest in your veterinary interests and a pathway toward ownership via the Partner Track program. The limited‑service outpatient clinic adds variety while sharing medical records and clients across both locations. Life in Crete offers the perfect balance of small‑town charm and city convenience, with easy access to world‑class dining, entertainment, and culture — ideal for a veterinarian seeking leadership growth without sacrificing lifestyle.
