Medical Director / Senior Medical Director - Neurology

For our client, we are seeking a Medical Director / Senior Medical Director - Neurology to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role provides medical oversight across clinical trials with a focus on neurology, safety, and regulatory compliance. The position partners closely with investigators, sponsor teams, and clients to support sound medical decision-making and high-quality study execution. It is well suited to a clinician who can balance patient-centered expertise with trial oversight, safety review, and study documentation in a fast-paced development environment. The successful candidate will also contribute to meetings, medical consultation, and interpretation of clinical and safety data. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $210,000 – $250,000 annually Responsibilities Provide medical oversight of clinical trials to ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements Attend and present at investigator and sponsor meetings, offering medical consultation to clients and project teams Monitor safety variables and discuss medical concerns with principal investigators and clients Assist in writing and reviewing clinical study reports and safety data interpretations Ensure tasks delegated to medical monitors are executed properly and adhere to regulations Qualifications MD or equivalent required; active medical licensure preferred Clinical experience in Neurology with formal training (residency/fellowship) and patient treatment experience (2 years) Clinical trial experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical company, or as a principal investigator (1-2 years) preferred for Senior Medical Director Direct experience in safety/pharmacovigilance (2 years) preferred for Senior Medical Director Therapeutic expertise in Neurology and familiarity with FDA, ICH, EMA, and GCP guidelines Benefits Competitive remuneration and annual incentive plan bonus Comprehensive healthcare coverage Opportunities for career development within an innovative organization Exciting company culture emphasizing integrity, intensity, involvement, and innovation Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
