Responsibilities
- Conduct electronic reviews of cases against medical policy criteria
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing physician expertise
- Help develop protocols and guidelines for consistent reviews
- Manage or contribute to various special projects as a subject matter expert
- Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required
- 5+ years in a clinical, direct patient care environment
- 1+ year in medical management within a health insurance plan preferred
- Board certification in a recognized medical specialty required
- Active state medical licensure required, with potential for additional state-specific licenses

$227,600 – $385,000 annually
