New Season Treatment Centers is a national leader in outpatient addiction treatment, providing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), behavioral healthcare, and recovery services for individuals living with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).

About the role

We're seeking a compassionate Medical Director (MD/DO) to provide medical leadership and oversee patient care in our outpatient Opioid Treatment Program (OTP). Responsibilities

  • Provide medical oversight for all patient care and treatment services
  • Conduct admission, annual, and follow-up physical examinations
  • Manage Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and medication orders
  • Collaborate with nurses, counselors, and clinical leadership to ensure exceptional patient care
  • Provide clinical guidance, physician leadership, and staff education
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and quality improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with DEA, SAMHSA, HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, and Virginia regulations
  • Support positive patient outcomes through evidence-based addiction medicine

Requirements

  • Active Physician (MD or DO) license in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • Active DEA registration with Schedules II, IIN, III, IV, and V authority
  • Current Medicare and Medicaid credentialing
  • One (1) year of addiction medicine or substance use disorder experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Opioid Treatment Programs (OTP), HIPAA, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and patient-centered care skills
