About the Role

As a Medical Director (MD/DO), you’ll lead clinical teams, shape practice workflows, and help build a premium healthcare brand supported by top industry leaders. We’re expanding our direct primary care clinics in Richardson, Mesquite, Duncanville, and Arlington, TX—join us to do the best work of your life.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and support clinical teams in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to Frontier members.
  • Provide clinical oversight, mentorship, and training to advanced practice providers and nurse managers.
  • Manage a split patient panel alongside a Lead PCP to ensure continuity and quality of care.
  • Hire and retain providers who align with our values of integrity, empathy, and patient-first care.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and leadership to refine workflows and build a sustainable care model.
  • Oversee daily clinic operations, including budget, inventory, and staff coordination.
  • Lead weekly team meetings to foster open dialogue, innovation, and problem-solving.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and internal standards for safety and excellence.
  • Provide quarterly feedback to your team and support initiatives to improve care quality and team experience.

Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution.
  • Active and unrestricted Texas medical license.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine.
  • 3-5 years of experience in family practice or primary care.
  • Active DEA registration.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience (e.g., mentoring teams or managing a clinic).
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance, patient safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Passion for relationship-based care and leading by example.
