About the role
Tualatin Animal Clinic is seeking a Medical Director Veterinarian to lead their dedicated team in Tualatin, Oregon. Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor associate veterinarians
- Promote high standards of medical care and client service
- Support hospital growth and team development
- Foster a positive and collaborative culture
- Partner with hospital leadership to drive operational success
- Continue practicing medicine while serving as a clinical leader
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine, or equivalent certification for international graduates
- Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
- Active Oregon veterinary license in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date
Qualifications
- Preferred experience utilizing digital radiography, dental radiography, and in-house diagnostics
- Experience in small animal general practice, urgent care, or companion animal medicine
- Previous leadership experience or a strong interest in veterinary leadership
- Strong communication, mentorship, and team-building skills
- Commitment to high-quality medicine and client service
