About the Role

We are seeking a Medical Director Addiction Medicine Physician (M.D. or D.O.) to provide comprehensive addiction medicine care to patients with substance use disorders. The position is 25% inpatient and 75% outpatient practice, with an inpatient unit of 20 beds and a Methadone Clinic supporting approximately 620 patients. This role includes managing and overseeing 5 Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners and 1 Physician.

Must be board certified/eligible and have completed an ACGME-accredited Addiction Medicine fellowship.

Responsibilities

  • Perform histories and physical exams, and conduct medication management visits.
  • Provide medical care for complications of substance use disorders, as clinically appropriate.
  • Engage in all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis and treatment.
  • Order labs, EKGs, and other tests as clinically indicated.
  • Lead and/or attend multidisciplinary team meetings in the Addiction Medicine Department.

Schedule

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Pay

Annual compensation range: $310,249 – $326,600.
