About the Role

Seeking a BC/BE Dermatologist to join an expanding dermatology department with an academic appointment, focusing on building a community-based practice in a new state-of-the-art facility.

Responsibilities

• Establish and develop dermatology services in a previously unsupported market.
• Practice community-based dermatology with academic affiliation.
• Provide patient care, incorporating subspecialty interests based on community needs.
• Work autonomously while maintaining connection to a major academic department.
• Utilize medical assistant, nurse support, and virtual scribe/AI tools for documentation.
• Follow a flexible weekly schedule of eight half-day sessions.
• Participate in long-term program development and growth.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology.
• Strong interest in community-based practice and service development.
• Ability to work autonomously within an academic framework.
