Medical Courier/ Route Driver

About the role
The Courier will be responsible for the pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports while providing excellent service to our clients. A company vehicle is provided for the route, with the option to take it home for personal use for $125 per month.
Responsibilities
- Load all necessary supplies needed for daily pickups
- Complete daily pickup schedule in a timely manner
- Deliver all daily pickups to your branch at the end of your shift
- Handle all specimens and lab samples safely and efficiently
- Safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
- Utilize a handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups
- Work directly with the dispatcher for additional pickups as needed
- Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions
Requirements
- Very punctual with strong time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to problem-solve customer issues
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- At least 21 years old
Qualifications
- No education or experience required (minimum)
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent (preferred)
- 1 year or more of driver or courier experience (preferred)
- 6 months or more of customer service experience (preferred)

Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours per week, casual, intern, and temporary employees are eligible for the 401(k) Plan only. Employees on a 7-on/7-off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
