Medical Courier Driver - Carolina Forest Weekend AM
Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity based in North Myrtle Beach, SC.
About the role
Become a vital part of our mission to deliver essential medical supplies safely and efficiently to healthcare facilities across Myrtle Beach and Little River areas. This contract includes a number of guaranteed (dedicated) routes and requires drivers to remain in the designated areas from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm to assist with on-demand orders when not completing the dedicated routes. Drivers receive a flat rate payment for the dedicated routes, with the potential to earn additional income from dedicated on-demand deliveries.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 2 pm–10 pm (1 route per day).
Responsibilities
- Be available and ready to respond to on-demand medical deliveries during scheduled hours.
- Safely transport sensitive medical materials between hospitals, emergency rooms, and other medical facilities.
- Provide outstanding customer service and uphold our commitment to excellence.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Reliable car, van, or SUV with 100/300/50 insurance coverage limits (vehicle must be provided by the contractor).
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Willingness to undergo background check, MVR review, and drug screening.
- Availability to remain in the designated service area during shift hours.
- Ability to download and operate multiple mobile apps.
Pay
Weekly settlement via the OpenForce platform: flat rate for dedicated routes plus additional income from on-demand deliveries. Note: weekly settlements may include a System Resource Subscription fee, a Gill Logistics administrative fee, and an Occupational Accident Insurance premium (unless you or your business entity already carries comparable workers’ compensation coverage).
